History

Kithood ~ Brokenjay, or 'Sand', was born to two loners, who were quite happy to have him. Sand grew up quite happy with his parents, they all got along well and Sand learned early, he could already hunt and fight efficiently by the time he was 6 moons. One day, his parents got into a fight with a small group of cats. His parents told him to run and not return, to worried that they would be dead by the end of the fight. Sand ran off, looking back whenever he could till his parents were out of sight. Sand's parents made it out alive and found their kit after a week of search. Sand had been doing well on his own due to the wonderful training given by them both. Also, Sand had started to carry around a few jay feathers, so his parents nicknamed him 'Jay'. Jay grew to around 7 moons when his parents found CaveClan. They allowed him into the clan, but said that they would remain in surrounding area as loners.

Apprenticeship ~ Sand was called Jaypaw, which he was slightly pleased about, as it reminded him of his parents. Jaypaw was already well trained, so he added himself into patrols. He began to grow stronger, and soon enough he was having his finally assignment. Sadly, he had his eyes focused on a large rabbit and failed to notice it crossing the thunder path or the startled cry of his second mentor. Jaypaw narrowly missed death as the monster hit him, but his back was crushed forever. Jaypaw became slightly depressed, his warriorship suddenly gone. 

Warriorhood ~ Jaypaw was 'granted' the name Brokenjay for his back, he disliked the name, but at least it sounded nice. Brokenjay spent all his time in the medicine den at this time, giving company to the patients in the den. Brokenjay started to enjoy life again. He had always loved challenges, and now he had the biggest of them all. He became more lively and cheerful minus the fact that he was eternally grounded.
